Recording Studio and Music Technology

A purpose-built recording studio is cabled through to the Temple Speech Room, New Music Room and several other recording spaces within the Music Schools, enabling recording of all styles of music to a professional standard.

The department also has 21 iMacs with audio interfaces and MIDI keyboards (15 in the Classroom and six in the Mixing Room), which are used for composition and music production. The School has site licences for Logic Pro 9 and Sibelius 7, which are installed on all the Macs in the department. Pro Tools is also available in the Control Room.
