A typical chorister week

Really excited that other children are going to have the opportunities that I experienced, because it really did help to get me to where I am now

- Naomi Simon, Chorister at Rugby School

What might a typical chorister week look like?

Choristers can expect a morning rehearsal plus a service four afternoons each week.

Services will happen in Rugby School Chapel and Bilton Grange Chapel with both sets of choristers singing twice in each chapel every week. Rugby School Chapel services will be sung alongside adult singers, whilst choristers will sing on their own at Bilton Grange.

Sample timetable:

07.50 Choristers’ rehearsals at Bilton Grange
16.20 bus to Rugby School (either boys or girls)
16.40 robing and rehearsal
17.30 Evensong or Eucharist (Bilton Grange & Rugby School)
18.15 collect from Rugby School/Bilton Grange or return to Bilton Grange
07.50 Choristers’ rehearsals at Bilton Grange

The Choristers' timetable is carefully planned to ensure there is plenty of time for academic study and prep as well as full access to the an extensive programme of co-curricular activities.
