2013 Arrow Trophy

October is soon upon us, which involves one of the biggest sailing events of the year, the Arrow Trophy.

As you may know, the ORSC has taken part in this for the past few years, with great success, and we plan on doing the same this year. Sailing takes place in the Sunsail F40 Yachts, with a minimum crew of 10.

The event is the 12th and 13th of October 2012.

Details of the event are as follows:

Friday afternoon / evening, we collect the boat from Port Solent (Portsmouth) and take it across to Cowes. We then tend to meet up as a team for some last minute fine tuning, at a local public house.

Saturday is fleet racing with our main objective of coming in the top four to proceed to the match racing on the Sunday. Saturday evening involves a dinner at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.

Sunday's sailing is match racing as we will have got in the top four.

Cost is £143, and £27.50 for dinner
