Partner Organisations

One of the most important aspects of our programme is finding the right students who will thrive here at Rugby.

Working with partner organisations, our team can demonstrate a proven ability to find those young people and support them every step of the way with long term pastoral engagement.

We want to offer this opportunity to those children who stand to gain the most from a boarding education and who can later become role models and leaders within their own communities. Working with partner organisations which are educational charities or maintained schools disadvantaged areas, dealing first-hand with issues of social exclusion, underachievement and whose leaders share our commitment to raise aspirations, helps up to achieve this.

Established alliances with IntoUniversity,  the Eastside Young Leaders’ Academy and Hope Opportunity Trust based in Chester are flourishing.  IntoUniversity currently operates from 29 centres across London, Nottingham, Bristol, Oxford, Brighton, Leeds and Southampton.  Eastside Young Leaders’ Academy is based in Forest Gate in the East End of London.  We also have partnerships with schools in the maintained sector including Ysgol Dewi Sant in St David's Wales and Hawick High School in the Borders of Scotland.

Working with our partners has been central to our success and has enabled us to reach out to young people for whom boarding is a remote concept.  These organisations help in identifying suitable candidates and are then fully involved in the entire application process.

Importantly, they also provide support in the holidays and help manage the transition between school and home.  Arnold Foundation students act as role models within their communities, sharing their experiences and helping to raise the aspirations of other young people and their families.

The Royal National Children's SpringBoard Foundation

We are also a Royal National Children's SpringBoard School. SpringBoard was inspired by the Arnold Foundation for Rugby School and established in 2012 following an extensive evaluation of the scalability of the Arnold Foundation model to a national level.  SpringBoard helps eligible children and young people to transform their lives by supporting them through boarding schools.
